Boland Baby Shower

On Saturday Ryan and I went to a baby shower for our good friends, Ben and Lucy Boland. I mean these two crazy kids are some of the greatest people I know! They are practically responsible for our marriage. Clearly, Ryan and I love them dearly!

What's so special about this pregnancy is that Momma Lucy is having THREE beautiful babies! Yup, I said three! She is having two girlies and one little man. I can't wait to meet them! Ben and Lucy will be the world's greatest parents. These babies will be loved a whole bunch! I am sooooooo excited for my friends! (A little side note to calm Ryan's nerves...just because I am so excited it does not mean I want my own yet!) I just can't wait to love on these three little angels!

Lucy has already been put on bed rest due to some early contractions. She is a real trooper and super determined to keep those little kiddos in her tummy as long as she can. Please keep Lucy, Ben, Baby A, Baby B, and Baby C in your thoughts and prayers. You can check out what she has to say about her journey at her baby blog: http://www.bolandbabies.blogspot.com/

Ben and Lucy- Thank you so much for inviting us to the shower. We enjoyed sharing the exciting night with you. We are blessed to have great friends like y'all!

Here are some pics from the night:

Our nice little Saturday...

The shed that Ryan and I put together!

"Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time." -Frank the Tank from Old School

Ryan and I started our first project as husband and wife. We are attempting to make our backyard pretty. The first step of the project was buying a storage shed to house all of our little yard tools. We mostly needed it for our new lawn mower that was being housed in our guest bedroom. It had to go! The gas fumes and hunter green color did not go with my new comforter. Soooooooo we woke up bright and early, went to Lowes and purchased our little shed. The box said that it only took 45 minutes to assemble...piece of cake!

HA HA HA! There is absolutely no way anyone could put this thing together in that amount of time. There was some major constructing going on! We had to build a roof and everything. It ended up taking us about six hours! We did have to take a short lunch break to Chick-fil-A so we wouldn't kill each other. (Lack of food makes me crabby and hard to deal with).

All in all we did pretty darn great! I would say we argued minimally. Ryan was pretty understanding of the fact that I'm no Bob the Builder. I'm quite proud of us...such a good little team!

The next step of our backyard beautification project is to clean out all the old flowerbeds and make new ones! Sounds fun huh? Maybe Ryan and I will win the lottery so we can just hire somebody who knows what they are doing!

Happy Father's Day!

"The greatest gift I ever had came from God, and I call him Dad!"~~Author Unknown.
Just wanted to take the time to thank my dad for ALL that he has done for me through the years. That list is an endless one that I won't even attempt to write. I am a very lucky girl to have such great parents. I know for a fact that my dad would do anything in the world for me. It is a wonderful feeling to know that I am so deeply loved. I hope that my dad knows that I love him to the moon and back!
Daddy, you are the greatest man I know! I appreciate all that you have done for me. I will always be your little girl and your bestest buddy! I hope that you have a perfect day because you definitely deserve it! Happy Father's Day! :)

Yay!!

We did it! I am officially Mrs. James Ryan White. We are super excited to finally be married...it only took 8 years. :) The wedding weekend went by so quickly for us. Ryan and I both made many amazing memories with our friends and family. Thanks to everyone for making it soooo wonderfully perfect. My legs are still hurting from dancing the night away...I certainly had myself a good 'ol time! (This picture is a little sneak preview from our photographer. I will post some more when we get them all back).
Ryan and I got back from the beach on Wednesday. Our mini-moon was relaxing and fun. We were so tired from the weekend that we could hardly get out of bed on Sunday! I'm glad we decided to push back the actual honeymoon a few weeks. Now we are all energized and ready for Jamaica! We leave in a couple of weeks...can't wait!
I'm going to try to get this blog looking a little cuter in the next few days. Not so sure how that will go soooo wish me luck!
